So, like I figured, I ended up giving Adam his Christmas presents early. One was a t-shirt. It's got Christopher Walken on it, and it says, "The Walken Dead." But the best present came as a pack: all the currently released comics in the Walking Dead series. I gave these to him early for a partially selfish reason: I wanted to read them too, before school starts, and I don't have the opportunity. They were pretty awesome. I'm not usually a comic book person, but I couldn't put them down. Lots of zombie nightmares ensued, but it was worth it.
Now that I'm done with them though, I have got to make myself finish Omeros. And read the other three books that were assigned. I am the world's worst procrastinator. I read the seventh Harry Potter book in a day. I know I could read this little books and get them out of the way if I could just get myself to concentrate on it. Sometimes I wonder how I'm going to make it through grad school.
Now that I've made myself feel bad about it, I think I'm going to cut this entry short and get to reading. Once I get through Omeros, everything should be cake from there.
